My latest painting using Fresco. I watched a class on tertiary colors and wanted to try it myself. I used an old picture of a barn I took in Indiana as a model. 

I get a lot of inspiration from simply driving around and taking in the sites. A few years ago I came across this train track crossing the valley on a high bridge in southern Indiana. The Tulip Viaduct in Bloomfield. I took some pictures and decided to use them as a starting point for a digital painting I made with Photoshop. I love the new tools for brushes in this new Photoshop version. You can do so much. I was also torn between a sepia or color image and decided on something a little in the middle. Like its washed out and antiqued but keeping the whites and blacks. I am still in my beginner stages for using a pen and tablet but I will keep it up and improve my speed and style.
